About the Role:
Supply Desk are seeking a passionate, nurturing, and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in the Harrow area. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic early years practitioner who is committed to creating engaging learning experiences and supporting children through the crucial early stages of their development.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping children develop socially, emotionally and academically within a safe and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and engaging EYFS lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
- Support children’s academic, social and emotional development
- Monitor, assess and record pupil progress effectively
- Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence
- Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed at all times
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Previous experience teaching within EYFS (Desirable)
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, caring and proactive attitude
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
