Primary SEND Teacher required for an SEMH unit in a school in the New Forest.

Pay: to scale M1-M4

Start: April 13th 2026 – potential to be long term into the next academic year

Full time hours: 08:00 – 16:00

Key responsibilities:

  • Working with a group of 12 SEMH children between years 2 and 4
  • You will be working closely with the onsite SENCO
  • Plan, mark and assess with children with diverse needs (PPA time included)
  • SEMH experience essential
  • Differentiate according to need
  • Be empathetic, set high expectations and have knowledge of regulation techniques

What we ask from you?

Our service is free of charge but all we ask is that you are compliant with the Department for Education guidelines and you:

  • Have a current DBS on the update service or are prepared to obtain one
  • Hold a teaching qualification recognised in the UK
  • Are a newly qualified or experienced teacher
