We are seeking a Music Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in the Southampton area. This is a long-term opportunity with an ASAP or September start, where you will deliver engaging lessons and encourage students to explore their musical talents. You will play an important role in developing students' confidence, creativity and appreciation for music within a supportive learning environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Delivering engaging Music lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Encouraging creativity through performance, composition and theory
- Supporting students in developing confidence and musical skills
- Contributing to curriculum planning and enrichment opportunities
- Monitoring student progress and supporting achievement
- Promoting a positive and engaging classroom environment
- Supporting school productions and extracurricular activities where appropriate
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong subject knowledge in Music
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
- Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
- A creative and adaptable teaching approach
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to high standards and student achievement
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
