What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Delivering engaging Music lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Encouraging creativity through performance, composition and theory
  • Supporting students in developing confidence and musical skills
  • Contributing to curriculum planning and enrichment opportunities
  • Monitoring student progress and supporting achievement
  • Promoting a positive and engaging classroom environment
  • Supporting school productions and extracurricular activities where appropriate

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong subject knowledge in Music
  • Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
  • A creative and adaptable teaching approach
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to high standards and student achievement
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
