What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Encouraging students to develop reading, writing and analytical skills
- Contributing to curriculum planning and development
- Monitoring student progress and implementing strategies to raise attainment
- Supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
- Creating a positive and well-managed classroom environment
- Contributing to departmental initiatives and enrichment activities
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
- Ability to inspire, motivate and challenge students
- A creative and adaptable teaching approach
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to achieving the best outcomes for all students
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
