About the Role

We are seeking an English Teacher to join a secondary school situated on the border of the New Forest, close to Hythe. This long-term role begins in January 2026 and will run until at least Easter, with the possibility of continuing through to July 2026 or becoming permanent.

You will be teaching English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students to develop their literacy, analytical skills, and appreciation of literature. Lesson plans and resources will be provided, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that bring English to life.

This role is open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). Overseas-trained teachers with experience of the UK curriculum are also encouraged to apply.
