The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Dance/Drama Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4. This full-time role begins in January 2026 and has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You will be responsible for planning and delivering dynamic lessons that inspire creativity, build performance skills, and encourage teamwork and self-expression.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach high-quality Dance and Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons
- Support students' academic, social, and creative development
- Encourage confidence, creativity, and collaboration
- Contribute to school productions, performances, and extracurricular activities
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Follow school policies and behaviour management strategies
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant performing arts teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge in Dance and/or Drama
- A creative, energetic, and proactive approach
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
