Supporting Pupils with SEMH, Autism and behavioural needs

Location: Gosport/Fareham

Hours: 08:00am – 4:00pm, 5 days a week.

Start: September 2026. Long‑term position, with the potential to become permanent.

We’re seeking dedicated EBD HLTA to support in an SEMH provisional unit to work with a range of different needs throughout a secondary school. All children within the unit present behaviours that challenge due to trauma and neuro divergence. It is essential you are resilient, calm, and consistent, with the confidence to follow agreed strategies, apply boundaries fairly, and respond proactively. You would need to have experience working with children with additional needs.

  • A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
