We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Milton Keynes from September 2026. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential).
- Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity about physical and human geography topics.
- Differentiate lessons to support students of varying abilities and learning styles.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
- Contribute to the wider Geography department and collaborate with colleagues to develop high-quality teaching resources.
- Promote positive behaviour and maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support students in developing analytical, research, and critical thinking skills.

Person Specification
- Bachelor s degree in Geography or a related subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Geography at secondary level (KS3 and KS4).
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in Geography.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive teaching team.
- A commitment to helping students achieve their full academic potential.
