About the Role:

- Salary: £33,075 to £50,471

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage & Inspire: Create interactive, student-centred lessons that focus on reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.

What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teachers: QTS with a degree in English, Education, or a related field. ECTs and Unqualified candidates with a passion for teaching English are welcome to apply.
- Experience: Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting is highly desirable. Experience teaching both literature and language is a strong advantage.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to connect with students and colleagues, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment.
- Cultural Awareness: Enthusiasm for working in diverse settings and adapting your teaching methods to a variety of learning styles.
- Classroom Management: A proactive approach to maintaining a productive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Curriculum Knowledge: Familiarity with the secondary English curriculum (GCSE, A-Level, or equivalent) and the ability to adapt it to student needs.
