The Ideal Candidate
- Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with both students and parents, and ensuring parents are well-informed about their child’s progress
- Ability to develop and plan engaging lessons based on the national curriculum for Computer Science
- Keeps up to date with curriculum changes and adapts teaching materials accordingly
- Designs assessments to evaluate students' understanding of Computer Science concepts
- Provides constructive feedback on assignments and projects to support student progress
- Integrates technology into teaching methods to enhance learning experiences
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of technological advancements and incorporates them into the curriculum
Qualifications Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A relevant degree in Computer Science or a similar subject
- Proven experience teaching at secondary school level
- Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and educational best practices
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Professional references and an Enhanced DBS check
