The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with both students and parents, and ensuring parents are well-informed about their child’s progress
  • Ability to develop and plan engaging lessons based on the national curriculum for Computer Science
  • Keeps up to date with curriculum changes and adapts teaching materials accordingly
  • Designs assessments to evaluate students' understanding of Computer Science concepts

Qualifications Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A relevant degree in Computer Science or a similar subject
  • Proven experience teaching at secondary school level
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and educational best practices
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
  • Professional references and an Enhanced DBS check
