The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A foundational knowledge of PECs/Cued Articulation or other Speech and Language provision
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A nurturing, positive approach with a passion for supporting children's learning
  • The ability to adapt and respond to individual pupil needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and supportive learning experiences
  • Work in a primary school with a small group of children with Speech and language needs
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with additional needs
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage children to reach their full potential
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers and other staff
  • Be actively involved in wider school life, including events and enrichment activities
