Part-Time School Receptionist – Specialist School

Hours: Part-time – Fridays only (07:30 – 15:30)

We are seeking a reliable and approachable Receptionist to join a supportive specialist school in the Southampton area on a part-time basis every Friday. You will be responsible for helping manage the front desk, handling enquiries and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.

  • Creating a professional and welcoming front office environment
  • Supporting the wider school team where required

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous receptionist or administrative experience is desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office
  • Friendly, professional and approachable manner
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
  • Experience within a school environment desirable but not essential
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
