Supply Desk is working in partnership with a number of welcoming and supportive secondary schools across Brighton and Hove, and East Sussex, who are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable teachers to join them on a flexible supply basis. This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified secondary teachers to build classroom confidence, gain experience across different school settings, and discover the right environment for their teaching career.

About the Role

As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 within your subject specialism, covering planned absences, short-term placements, and ad hoc supply. Supply teaching offers a valuable way to develop your teaching style, strengthen behaviour management, and experience a variety of school cultures before committing to a long-term role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with school expectations
  • Follow lesson plans provided and adapt confidently to different classroom settings
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
