Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Support students in developing coding, programming, and problem-solving skills
  • Assess student work, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain an organized and well-equipped ICT suite
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and enrichment activities
  • Contribute positively to wider school life and staff responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level
  • Strong knowledge of the UK Computer Science curriculum
  • Energetic, practical, and student-centred teaching approach
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
