KS2 Primary Teacher - Bushey

Contract: Full-time
Pay: £150-£220pd (Dependent on experience)

Supply Desk are currently seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate KS2 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Bushey area. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupils' academic and personal development, and creating a positive classroom environment where every child is encouraged to thrive.

This role is ideal for an inspiring teacher who is passionate about education and committed to helping pupils develop their knowledge, confidence and independence throughout Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative and age-appropriate lessons across the KS2 curriculum
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
• Differentiate lessons and activities to meet the needs of all learners
• Assess, monitor and record pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly
• Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning
• Promote positive behaviour and effective classroom management
• Provide appropriate support and challenge to ensure all pupils can achieve their potential
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and other members of the school team
• Communicate effectively with parents/carers regarding pupil progress and development where appropriate
• Maintain accurate records of pupil attainment, progress and wellbeing
• Contribute to the wider school community and participate in school activities

Role Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (preferred)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to differentiate teaching to meet a range of learning needs
• Passion for education and supporting children's development
• Knowledge of safeguarding
• Primary school experience (desirable)
