Supply Desk is working in partnership with a number of welcoming and nurturing nurseries and early years settings across Brighton and Hove, who are seeking passionate and qualified Level 3 Nursery Assistants to join them on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for early years professionals looking to support children during their most important stages of development.
About the Role
As a Level 3 Nursery Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the learning, development, and wellbeing of children in an early years setting. You will help to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can learn through play and develop essential social and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities tailored to children’s development
- Promote a safe, secure, and inclusive learning environment
- Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development
- Monitor and record children’s progress and development
- Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents/carers
- Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed at all times
Candidate Profile
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (essential)
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- A warm, caring, and enthusiastic approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A genuine passion for supporting young children’s development
Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification
- Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Two professional references
