Hours: Monday – Friday, 06:30–08:30 and/or 15:30–18:30 (39 weeks per year, term time plus INSET days)

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join a dedicated site team within a welcoming educational environment in Milton Keynes. This role is essential in ensuring staff and students benefit from a clean, safe, and hygienic setting every day. Full training and induction will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for both experienced cleaners and those looking to develop new skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
  • Carry out routine cleaning duties including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, damp dusting, and emptying bins.
  • Clean and maintain student and staff toilet facilities.
  • Replenish consumables such as toilet paper, soap, paper towels, and bin liners.
  • Safely use cleaning equipment and materials, following training and health and safety procedures.
  • Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and annual cleaning schedules as directed by the Site Manager.
  • Report stock requirements and maintain an organised cleaning environment.
  • Support the wider site team to ensure the premises remain safe, clean, and presentable.

Candidate Profile

  • Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
