The ideal candidate:
- Curriculum Planning and Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive and engaging maths curriculum that aligns with the educational standards and objectives. Create lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
- Classroom Instruction: Deliver effective and stimulating maths lessons to secondary school students. Utilise a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technologies to enhance student understanding and engagement. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active student participation and collaboration.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Regularly assess and evaluate student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods. - Differentiation and Individualised Instruction: Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with varying levels of ability and learning styles. Provide additional support or challenges for students as needed to ensure academic success for all.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Teaching certification or license in secondary education with a focus on maths.
- Proven experience teaching maths at the secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate.
