Reception Teacher Long Crendon

Contract: Full-time Temp to Perm
An inviting and well-supported primary school in Long Crendon is currently seeking a committed Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team for an immediate start. The RoleYou will take full responsibility for a Reception class, planning and delivering a stimulating curriculum that supports early literacy, numeracy, social skills, and personal development. The role also involves close partnership with teaching assistants, parents, and the wider school community.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework
Monitor and assess children s progress through observations and formative assessment
Foster a safe, happy, and inclusive classroom environment
Communicate effectively with parents and carers about children's learning and wellbeing
Contribute to the wider life of the school and Early Years team
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) ECTs and experienced teachers welcome
Experience teaching in Early Years, ideally within a Reception setting
Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and early childhood development
A nurturing and patient approach with excellent classroom management skills
Strong communication and organisational abilities
