Supply Desk is currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced Reception Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Abbots Langley from January 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong and confident Early Years practitioner looking for a part-time teaching position within a supportive school environment.
The Role:
- Teaching a Reception class, delivering engaging and creative lessons.
- Working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week.
- Taking full responsibility for planning, preparation and assessment.
- Supporting children's early development, learning and progress.
- Working collaboratively as part of a job-share arrangement.
- Creating a positive, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has strong Early Years and Reception teaching experience.
- Confident managing a classroom and delivering the full teaching role.
- Has excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Can demonstrate strong planning, organisation and assessment skills.
- Is reliable, enthusiastic and committed to achieving the best outcomes for pupils.
