The Role

We are seeking a patient, enthusiastic, and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. This full-time role begins in January 2026 and may become permanent for the right candidate. You will work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to deliver tailored support and help students succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one or small-group support for students with special educational needs
  • Assist with implementing personalised learning plans and EHCP targets
  • Support students' emotional regulation, communication, and social development
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and SEN specialists
  • Help maintain a safe, calm, and inclusive learning environment
  • Follow school safeguarding, behaviour, and SEN support policies
