Supply Desk are working closely with a forward-thinking and inclusive all-through school in Southampton, who are seeking a confident, reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their team from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate, aspiring teacher, Cover Supervisor or experienced education professional looking to gain valuable classroom experience within a supportive and ambitious school environment.
The successful candidate will supervise pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring students remain engaged, focused and on task in the absence of their usual teacher.

The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising classes in the absence of the usual classroom teacher.
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and work across a variety of subjects.
- Supporting students to remain engaged and focused on their learning.
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and conduct.
- Creating a calm, positive and purposeful classroom environment.
- Following school policies and procedures.
