Your Role:

  • Collaborate closely with the class teacher to deliver an engaging EYFS curriculum, supporting both individual and small group activities.
  • Provide responsive support to children, fostering their social, emotional, and academic development both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Contribute to creating a warm, inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and independence.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, providing valuable insights to tailor learning experiences to individual needs.
  • Assist in planning, preparing, and organising educational resources to maintain a stimulating and well-structured classroom environment.
  • Engage with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure each child's well-being and development are supported.
  • Implement positive behaviour management strategies to help children build strong social and emotional skills.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in an EYFS setting with a solid understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
  • Patient, empathetic, adaptable, with excellent communication skills.
  • A strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Confident in implementing behaviour management strategies and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Two recent, relevant references.
  • Right to work in the UK.
