Your Role:
- Collaborate closely with the class teacher to deliver an engaging EYFS curriculum, supporting both individual and small group activities.
- Provide responsive support to children, fostering their social, emotional, and academic development both inside and outside the classroom.
- Contribute to creating a warm, inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and independence.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing valuable insights to tailor learning experiences to individual needs.
- Assist in planning, preparing, and organising educational resources to maintain a stimulating and well-structured classroom environment.
- Engage with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure each child's well-being and development are supported.
- Implement positive behaviour management strategies to help children build strong social and emotional skills.
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in an EYFS setting with a solid understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
- A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
- Patient, empathetic, adaptable, with excellent communication skills.
- A strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Confident in implementing behaviour management strategies and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two recent, relevant references.
- Right to work in the UK.
