About the Role:
Supply Desk is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1/2 Class Teacher for a mixed years group, full-time position at a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Southampton. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a mixed Year 1/2 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their full potential. What We’r Looking For:
- A qualified Primary Teacher with experience teaching within KS1
- Strong understanding of the Year 1 and Year 2 curriculum
- Someone with high expectations for attainment, behaviour and pupil progress
- A creative and engaging approach to teaching and learning
- Ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND
- A positive team player who enjoys contributing to school life
Requirements:
- A UK-recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
- A current DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Full compliance with DfE and Safer Recruitment standards
