What You’ll Do:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the primary school curriculum.
- Teach across relevant year groups, from Early Years and Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2, depending on your experience.
- Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Adapt to different school environments, classroom routines and teaching requirements.
- Maintain a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and encourage pupils to participate in learning.
- Support pupils’ academic progress, confidence and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an appropriate recognised teaching qualification for the role.
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A flexible, reliable and proactive approach to working across different school environments.
- A passion for primary education and a commitment to helping children achieve their full potential.
