Bluestones Derby are currently recruiting for production operatives to join our client in Newhaven, Derbyshire. This is an exciting opportunity to get a foot in the door at the UKs largest manufacturer of shaped refractories who are recognised as one of the world\'s leading suppliers of bonded refractories for the glass industry. This is a full time, temp perm position and offers excellent progression opportunities. Due to the location of the site a full UK driving licence and transport is essential. The site is easily accessible from Ashbourne, Buxton, Matlock and Bakewell. A Forklift licence (Counterbalance) and experience would also be an advantage. Experience is not required for this position as all relevant training will be given. Daily Duties will include: Producing High Quality Refractory Products. Quality Control Checks Multi Skilling between departments FLT Operating Manual Handling & Heavy Lifting Available Shifts: Permanent Days 06:00 16:00 Monday Thursday, 06:00 12:30 Friday. Permanent Nights 18:00 - 06:00 Monday Thursday. Rotating Shift on a 3 week pattern 2 weeks on days, 1 week on nights (18:00 06:00 Mon Thurs) Other shift patterns are also available, apply within for more details! Hourly Rate on days starts at £12.67 which increases to £14.20 when fully trained. Hourly Rate on nights starts at £13.93 which increases to £15.42 when fully trained.
