We have a great opportunity for a Procurement Assistant within our Pathology. The Procurement Assistant will work as an integral member of the category teams, ensuring the procurement processes are managed within identified KPIs. They will support the delivery of the end-to-end procurement process for our customers/stakeholders, working to always deliver a high level of customer service to all stakeholders ensuring that relationships and processes are managed effectively allowing overall targets to be achieved.

Every day you will:

  • Support procurement activities by delivering agreed objectives and following established procurement systems, processes, and protocols.
  • Collect, analyse, and report on contract performance, market trends, cost drivers, and supplier information to support new and existing contracts.
  • Undertake basic contract management activities, including maintaining records, supporting reviews, and contributing to the development of new contracts.
  • Prepare accurate reports, documents, and spreadsheets using standard office software, ensuring data is gathered, summarised, and presented clearly.
  • Provide effective stakeholder and customer support by coordinating meetings and actions, managing queries, resolving issues, and supporting engagement activities.
