Job Title Data Maintenance Associate

Function: Data & Technology

Location: Leeds/Nottingham/Alfreton/Hybrid

Salary: £25,650 with potential to rise to £28,500 over 3 years

NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a Data Maintenance Associate to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first.

We are seeking an experienced Data Maintenance Associate who will be responsible for updating various data fields in NHS Supply Chain systems including but not limited to contract, supplier, and product data. The team supports the business’s contract launch and customer opportunities pipelines, and the Data Maintenance Team Lead coordinates activities to ensure that timelines are met, and any challenges escalated.

Every day you will …

  • Conduct data entry into company systems, and review and verify the information to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Develop a working knowledge of policies and procedures and of regulatory codes and codes of conduct relevant to own work, adhering to mandatory procedures to ensure own work is undertaken to the required standards.
  • Develop and maintain excellent process or technical skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of actions and activities or case notes, by well-defined processes and requirements, so that information is accessible and auditable.
  • Respond to basic and advanced customer issues and complaints; escalate appropriately.
  • Contribute to reviewing existing operations in own area of work, and support in generating new ideas to assist in identifying continuous improvements.
  • Produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats.
  • Use data management systems to access specific information as and when required.
