NHS Supply Chain is recruiting for a communications Manager on a 6-month fixed term contract.

As an organisation, we have a bold 10-year vision that requires us, through communications, to position the organisation as a part of the NHS system, with an intent to bring excellence in our procurement and supply chain capabilities for the benefit of patient care.

The Communications Manager will ensure that our activities are clearly understood by our customers, suppliers and other stakeholders. You will work with relevant teams from around the organisation to develop cross channel customer/supplier communications that are tailored by audience and measured using a range of qualitative and quantitative tools.

You will also work with teams across the organisation to understand the changes being made to enhance the experiences of our key stakeholders and ensure these messages are communicated clearly, with customers able to provide feedback to NHS Supply Chain.

Every day you will …

  • Feed into and deliver a customer/supplier communications strategy to ensure that our audiences are communicated to in an effective and timely manner, using relevant channels and content.
  • Write and edit creative content for relevant audiences.
  • Create a customer/supplier communications loop for two-way communication.
  • Work closely with other relevant directorates to create a communications plan to share updates and good news stories with audiences so they can see the steps we are taking to address their pain points
  • Carry out a content and channel audit to ensure we use the correct messaging and vehicles to reach our target audiences.
  • Use data from a wide range of sources to analyse key themes and identify impacts on the business.
