HOURS: Full time (40 hours per week)
QUALIFICATION: Level 3 or higher
Job Purpose: As a Nursery Room Leader, you will lead and inspire a team within a specific age group room, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and early years education. You will act as a role model, guide and mentor practitioners, and ensure the room operates smoothly and meets all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day running of a nursery room, ensuring high standards of care and education.
- Support, mentor, and supervise team members, including overseeing planning and observations.
- Develop strong partnerships with parents, providing regular updates on children’s progress.
- Implement and review the EYFS curriculum and ensure activities support learning goals.
- Ensure safeguarding and health.
