Job Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in an Adult Social Services Team to support inpatients in hospital. This role would suit someone interested in complex case work with a specialist focus on working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will have the chance to work in partnership with a wide range of health professionals and providers in a time-challenged, fast-paced supportive environment. You will manage a caseload of cases supporting safe discharges, working closely with colleagues from a wide MDT. As an experienced social worker, you will undertake a range of assessments such as Care Act Assessments; Discharge to Assess planning; Mental Capacity Assessments; and will lead on Safeguarding enquiries. This is an office-based role, so applicants must be able to attend an office in person. Interviews will take place via video technology, where you will have the opportunity to discuss these working arrangements.

Qualified Social Worker Requirements:

  • CSW/CQSW/DipSW/BA/MA in Social Work
  • Proven post-qualifying experience in working with Adult services
  • Current Social Worker England registration
  • Current Enhanced DBS Disclosure
  • Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions
  • Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable people
