SALARY: £42,060 - £50,085 (up to £52,194 unconsolidated maximum) TYPE: PERMANENT HOURS: Full time - Hybrid Working (One full week in the office every four weeks as part of the Duty Rota).
LOCATION: South London We are looking for confident and experienced Social Workers who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people.
You'll be joining a dedicated Locality Team where you'll work collaboratively with families and partner agencies to deliver outstanding outcomes.
- Your Responsibilities
- Support children and young people through robust assessments, SMART care planning, and effective interventions.
- Work within a restorative practice approach, building strong partnerships with families and multi-agency professionals.
- Lead and coordinate multi-agency meetings, safeguarding plans, and interventions.
- Undertake statutory work under Sections 17 and 47 of the Children Act.
- Complete direct work with children, ensuring their voice, wishes, and feelings remain at the heart of every decision.
- Deliver high-quality, child-focused practice in line with safeguarding legislation and statutory guidance. Requirements
- Social Work England registration
- At least two years' post-qualifying experience, within a UK Local Authority.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and statutory responsibilities.
- Excellent assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
- The ability to thrive in a busy, supportive team environment.
- A willingness to attend the office for one full week every four weeks as part of the Duty Rota.
Please note that some travel outside the borough may be required as part of your caseload.
