SALARY: Up to 50,000 per annum
TYPE: PERMANENT
HOURS: Full time role (Mon-Fri, 40 hrs pw).
QUALIFICATION: Level 3 or higher in Early Years
This is the perfect role for a confident leader who is committed to delivering outstanding early years education and creating a nurturing environment for children, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Lead and support the nursery team to deliver outstanding practice
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted and safeguarding requirements
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals
- Manage staff performance, recruitment, and development
- Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children
We are looking for someone who has a strong background in early years education and childcare and who has previous leadership or management experience within a nursery setting. You must be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices as well as be confident in leading, motivating, and developing a team and passionate about delivering high-quality care and education. Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential.
