This is an excellent opportunity to join a Local Authority Property Services team, overseeing a range of mechanical, electrical, maintenance and building services contracts across the managed estate.
The CONTRACTS OFFICER will play a key role in ensuring contractors deliver safe, compliant, high-quality and cost-effective services, while supporting effective contract administration and performance management.
- Managing and administering building services and maintenance contracts
- Monitoring contractor performance against KPIs and contractual requirements
- Supporting statutory compliance, quality assurance and risk management
- Reviewing performance data, financial information and contract reportingSupporting procurement and ensuring governance procedures are followed
- Monitoring social value commitments and contractor obligations
- Supporting financial control, auditing and value-for-money initiatives
- Working closely with Property Services, contractors and internal stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
We’re keen to hear from candidates with experience in:
- Contract management or contract administration
- Building services, property, facilities or maintenance
- Contractor performance and KPI monitoring
- Procurement and governance processes
- Financial administration and reporting
- Local Authority or public-sector environments (desirable)
