RATE: up to ÂŁ15.77 ph (rate is dependent on shift)

HOURS: Flexible (Long Day (8am-10pm), Waking Night (10pm-8am), Sleep In (10pm-8am))
Job Overview: You will provide Children’s Residential Support to young people on a shift-by-shift basis. You will predominantly be required to work at any of the Authority’s Registered Children’s Homes; however, there may be occasions where workers will be supporting children in their own homes or alternative arrangements.
All staff must have a clear DBS, and agencies must provide evidence of vetting in accordance with RISCA (Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016).
Children's Residential Support Workers Requirements:
- Proven experience in working with children’s services
- Current Enhanced DBS Disclosure
- Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions
- Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable people
- Six months experience of working with children in a residential home setting
- QCF Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care, Children and Young People or equivalent or evidence of working towards
- Social Care Wales registration for Children’s Residential Setting
