Location: Abingdon Children & Family Centre, Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Job Type: Locum, Full-Time
Pay Rate: £32.76 PAYE / £42.00 Umbrella
Working Pattern: 37 hours per week

About the Role: Supply Care Solutions, a market-leading Medical and Social Care recruitment consultancy providing accredited services across the public sector, is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join Oxfordshire County Council’s Children’s Assessment Service in the South. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive authority with a strong restorative practice model, stable leadership and an Ofsted rating of Good.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake comprehensive assessments of children and families.
- Identify safeguarding concerns and implement appropriate interventions.
- Support children and families through statutory assessment processes.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
- Promote child-centred, relationship-based and strengths-based practice.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant children's services experience.
- Previous experience working within a Children's Assessment Team.
- Strong assessment and safeguarding skills.
- Ability to manage statutory responsibilities effectively.
- Full UK driving licence and ability to drive, as required.
- Availability to work full-time, 37 hours per week.

- Relevant identification and Right to Work documentation.
- Enhanced DBS documentation, where applicable.
