We are currently looking for a number of senior support workers across South Wales to join one of our national children provider clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct Care: Provide trauma-informed, person-centered support in a therapeutic children's residential setting.
  • Leadership: Assist the home manager in mentoring support workers, leading shifts, and ensuring high standards of care.
  • Safeguarding: Protect young people from harm and strictly adhere to child protection procedures.
  • Administration: Assist with shift planning, accurate record-keeping, and care plan reviews.
  • Community Engagement: Facilitate leisure and educational activities to help young people build life skills.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent in Health & Social Care).
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a residential care setting with children or vulnerable individuals.
  • Licensing: A full, manual UK driving license is strictly required.
  • Competencies: Strong resilience, communication skills, and an open-minded approach to therapeutic care.

  • Hours: Shift work is required, including evenings, weekends, and on-call or sleep-in duties.
