  • Integrate blockchain operations seamlessly with centralised services like matchmaking, leaderboards, and reward redemption.

Security & Performance

  • Ensure platform security across smart contracts, APIs, and backend services.
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and disaster recovery protocols.
  • Conduct regular code reviews, audits, and performance optimisations.
  • Work closely with frontend/game developers and product leads to deliver integrated features.
  • Contribute to strategic technical decision-making and long-term roadmap planning.
  • Stay current with evolving Web3, gaming, and backend technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or related field (or demonstrable experience).
  • Nice to have - Proficient in Solidity and/or Vyper for smart contracts.
  • Experience with one or more blockchain frameworks (Substrate, Cosmos SDK, Hyperledger).
  • Proficient in backend languages Golang or C++.
  • Familiar with relational and non-relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with Web3.js, Ethers.js, or similar blockchain libraries.
  • Comfortable deploying and managing services in AWS, GCP, or other cloud environments.
  • Strong grasp of encryption, wallet key management, and secure authentication methods.
  • Collaborative mindset with a bias for action in a lean startup environment.
  • Passion for gaming and the evolving play-to-earn economy.

Nice to Have

  • Experience integrating blockchain with React, React Native, or Unity frontends.
  • Prior contributions to gaming or gamified platforms.
  • Familiarity with DeFi protocols or tokenomics.
  • Understanding of Firebase, real-time multiplayer servers, or serverless architectures.

What We Offer

  • Cofounder Equity in a high-potential early-stage startup
  • Competitive salary post-funding (with milestone-based increases)
