In the Move on Officer job you will be:

Supporting the partnership in providing a range of emergency accommodation options for clients in housing need

Procuring and managing the provision of emergency accommodation for homeless clients

Maximising rent collection and reduce unnecessary expenditure

Liaising with Housing & Planning Officers on property condition, HHSRS and enforcement

Supporting clients within the emergency accommodation portfolio to prepare for and successfully "move on" into appropriate long-term housing
To be considered for the Move on Officer job you must have

Previous experience of working in a similar role

Knowledge of housing legislation, housing issues, and homelessness legislation

An ability to work under pressure, with good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines

A full driving license and car available for work use due to travelling within the role, Disability Confident
