The Role
- Leading and managing structural engineering projects from initial concept through to completion.
- Developing creative and cost-effective structural solutions for a wide range of building types and materials.
- Conducting detailed structural analysis and design using industry-standard software.
- Preparing technical reports, calculations, and specifications.
- Mentoring and guiding junior engineers and technicians.
- Collaborating with architects, clients, and contractors to ensure project success.
- Ensuring all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Chartered or near Chartered status (e.g., CEng MIStructE or MICE).
- Proven experience as a Structural Engineer, with a significant portion in a senior or leadership role.
- Extensive experience with various construction materials, including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
- Strong proficiency in structural analysis and design software.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive and collaborative attitude with a strong commitment to quality.
