Structural Revit Technician – Ipswich Office
Are you a skilled and detail-orientedRevit Technicianlooking to join a dynamic structural engineering consultancy? We are seeking a talented individual to play a key role in our East Anglia-based team.
At our firm, we specialize in a diverse range of projects, from innovative new builds to complex refurbishments. We are passionate about using the latest technology to deliver high-quality, efficient designs. As a Structural Revit Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our design process, working closely with engineers to bring our concepts to life.
You will be a vital part of our design team, responsible for:
- Creating and managing detailed 3DRevit modelsfor a variety of structural projects, including steel, concrete, and timber frames.
- Producing comprehensive technical drawings, including general arrangements, sections, and detailed plans.
- Working collaboratively with structural engineers, architects, and other consultants to ensure a coordinated and clash-free design.
- Assisting in the preparation of project documentation and maintaining drawing standards and BIM protocols.
- Contributing to the development of our Revit library and improving workflows.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Revit or CAD Technician in a structural engineering or construction environment.
- Strong proficiency withAutodesk Revitis essential; experience with AutoCAD and Navisworks is a plus.
- A solid understanding of structural materials, building regulations, and BIM processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong technical skills.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with colleagues and external parties.
