We are looking for an experienced Café Manager to join our team and help us take things to the next level. You must have a genuine passion for running the day-to-day operations of a busy café environment and take a proactive hands-on approach to driving our team forward.
Aviva Studios is a multi-purpose, highly flexible venue with two main performance areas, The Warehouse and Hall, that can be reconfigured into various formats with a range of capacities up to 4,500 standing. Since opening in summer 2023, we have hosted touring artists, multi-stage festivals, live-streamed concert series, corporate showcases, one-off special performances, and in-house produced concerts. We have a vibrant, customer-focused café known for its welcoming atmosphere, quality food and drinks, and excellent service. We are passionate about creating a positive experience for every customer, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Café Manager to lead our team and help grow our business.
The Role:
As our Café Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the café. You’ll lead a team of baristas, servers, and kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of customer service, food quality, cleanliness, and team morale. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centred environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily café operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer experiences
- Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory effectively
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues professionally
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, health, and safety
