We home-grow talent. This offer is only* for ex-founders, 1st hires, or operators who are looking to get into venture capital at the grass roots, and be part of building a world-class European VC firm.

SuperSeed is a leading early-stage B2B SaaS venture capital firm based in London. We invest in world-class industrial startups very early and help them get to market.

From genomic sequencing and pharmacological design to continuous manufacturing, construction, and infrastructure, we invest in software that changes how we make things. From supply chain tech to freight, shipping, and logistics, we invest in software that changes how things move around the world. From infrastructural fintech to dev tools, cybersec, and enterprise automation software, we invest in software that transforms the working world.

Founded in 2018 by Mads Jensen and Dan Bowyer, we\'re a team of entrepreneurs investing in entrepreneurs. Fewer than 10% of VCs in the UK are former founders, which, at the earliest stages, is problematic and needs to change. With 8 successful exits as entrepreneurs and investors, and having sold millions in contract value globally, we use our real-world experience to source, select and support our portfolio companies. Our ethos is to add value beyond the capital we invest. Then we agree with the founding team what kind of active, practical support is needed at any moment in time. We help founders accelerate, and derisk their journey to their first million, to Series A, and beyond.

We\'ve invested in 27 companies so far and are on the lookout for the next generation of world-class technical founders, products, and teams. We are growing our investment team to continue on this mission.

The OpportunityThis is where you come in.

We\'re looking for smart, thoughtful, tenacious, diligent, analytical and charismatic people who want to gain insight into the exciting and fast-paced world of startups and venture capital.

This is an entry-level position, but everyone we work with must be potential partner material. You\'ll be thrown in at the deep end but will also work closely with everyone in our tight-knit team. You will have daily exposure to partners and senior investors across all aspects of the business. Your primary role is getting close to founders, deal sourcing and founder interviewing, market analysis, and due diligence. You\'ll use your networking skills to research interesting companies and themes, and attend events on behalf of SuperSeed. You\'ll gain a wealth of experience quickly, and within the first 3 months, successful candidates will be brought into the team full-time, where the learning curve steepens further, and so will the responsibilities.

The RequirementsWe\'re looking for those who:

Have had early-stage founder/senior leadership operator startup experience. B2B SaaS experience is preferred;

Are passionate about AI and its potential within Industry 4.0 and the wider Real Economy;

Work efficiently at pace, are able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and hit the ground running from Day 1;

Want to work in person. We\'re in our central London office at least 4 days a week, and value face-to-face time.

The ProcessIn your application, please answer the following questions:

• Which are the top 3 traits that you possess that would make you a great Venture Capitalist, and why?

• What drives you to succeed?

• What is an example of a B2B SaaS business you have discovered that is suitable for VC investment, and why?

• Beyond your desire to move to VC, we\'d love to learn more about who you are - tell us something interesting about yourself!

If successful, you\'ll first meet with our Head of Talent for an introductory call, followed by interviews with our investment team and some additional tasks, which will offer exposure to elements of the VC role. Some candidates may be invited to a group assessment centre. Finally you\'ll meet our Partners face-to-face in our offices in central London.

We are a small team doing big things. This is initially a 3-month test period for all of us where salary expectations should be positioned as \'expenses +\', i.e. no frills attached. However, we are looking for talent to join us with a permanent position in mind.

At SuperSeed we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels welcome and valued. We believe that diversity of thought and experience is essential to our success, and we are particularly interested in candidates who can bring a different perspective to our team, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or veteran status.
