We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a successful and established food manufacturing and FMCG business, who are looking to appoint a Production Supervisor / Production Team Leader to join their busy manufacturing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor, Production Team Leader, Manufacturing Supervisor, Shift Supervisor or Senior Production Operative with experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, food production or high-volume manufacturing.
The Role
As Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day food production and manufacturing operation, ensuring production targets, quality standards, food safety requirements and health & safety procedures are consistently achieved.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising, supporting and motivating production operatives and production teams
- Managing daily food production activities to meet output, quality and efficiency targets
- Allocating staff and resources to meet the daily production plan
- Monitoring production performance, downtime, waste and productivity
- Ensuring compliance with HACCP, food safety, quality and hygiene standards
- Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed
