We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Quality Auditor to join a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality to play a key role in maintaining high standards across production.
The Role
As a Quality Auditor, you will work closely with production teams to ensure that all products consistently meet customer specifications, food safety standards, and internal quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out online quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications at all times
- Conduct intake inspections of incoming goods and complete all relevant documentation
- Perform label checks to ensure accuracy and compliance before application
- Collect and manage shelf‑life samples in line with procedures
- Ensure all QA equipment is calibrated and cleaned according to schedules
- Accurately complete all quality documentation and reports
- Identify and report any quality issues in a timely manner to the relevant teams
- Work collaboratively with production to resolve quality concerns efficiently
- Adhere to all QA procedures, HACCP, and food safety standards at all times
- Support across broader QC functions including inloading, outloading, and shelf‑life assessment
- Maintain a strong health & safety culture within the workplace
About You
- Previous experience in a quality, QA, or production role within food manufacturing
- Strong understanding of HACCP and BRC standards
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Confident communicator with the ability to challenge and escalate issues when required
- A proactive team player who can also work independently
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office; stock systems experience advantageous)
- Minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene (or equivalent)
- Positive, flexible, and committed approach to work
