Are you a talented Engineer looking to join a fast-paced, high-performing team in the food manufacturing industry? We are looking for a proactive and skilled Nights Engineer to play a key role in maintaining and improving our production performance through exceptional engineering support.
The Role:
As a Nights Engineer, you will be the go-to person on shift for ensuring the safe and efficient running of our production equipment. You will respond to breakdowns swiftly, carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and drive continuous improvement to minimize downtime and waste.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing rapid response to plant breakdowns to minimise production downtime
- Completing PPM schedules and updating maintenance systems
- Root cause analysis of faults and implementing long-term solutions
- Supporting site projects, installations, and commissioning of new equipment
- Maintaining the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and food quality compliance
About You:
We are looking for someone with:
- A recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, ONC, HNC, or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment
- Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent awareness of Health & Safety and food industry standards
- A proactive, hands-on attitude and the ability to work independently on nights
