Job Description

HSE Manager\\n\\nDerby area\\n\\nCirca £70k plus great benefits\\n\\nWe are working with one of the best food manufacturers in its category and they are looking for a Health and Safety manager to join their excellent senior management team!\\n\\nAs HSE Manager you will be fully responsible for the whole site and all aspects of health and safety. Twinned with that you will manage the environmental side of the business, ensuring that the site is ahead of the curve in terms of industry standards.\\n\\nOther responsibilities include:\\n\\n * To maintain legal compliance in the areas of Health, Safety and Environment but drive to achieve higher standards than this.\\n\\n * Ensure appropriate communications with the relevant enforcement and advisory bodies as necessary.\\n\\n * Set the site strategy for Health Safety and Environment alongside the General Manager incorporating overall business strategy to drive an improved HSE culture.\\n\\n * To maintain and continually improve the company’s ISO14001 accreditation and the environmental permit requirements.\\n\\n * Engagement of workforce at all levels; utilizing creative strategies to increase awareness across a multi-functional site.\\n\\n * Training; source, design and deliver in partnership with HR.\\n\\n * Manage the effluent aspects of HSE\\n\\nThis role is an amazing opportunity for an already well established health safety and environmental manager to join an incredible business and develop themselves further.\\n\\nYou will ideally have experience of working in the food manufacturing industry or FMCG, with a NEBOSH diploma (or working towards).\\n\\nIf you fit the criteria outlined above, and are ready for a new, fresh and exciting challenge in your career, then please apply ASAP
