Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer - multiple roles available
Continental shifts (4 on 4 off, rotating days and nights) £50k
Both electrical and mechanical bias required.
Due to exceptional recent growth, my client, an award-winning, nationally recognised food manufacturer, is seeking a number of Multi Skilled Engineers to join their large engineering team. It is an ideal role for a multi-skilled/mechanical/electrical engineer with a passion for improvements and improving reliability in a factory setting.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Maintain and enhance the performance of plant and equipment (both reactive and PPM)
- Establishing root cause analysis (RCA) throughout the factory
- Both short and long term fixes across all breakdowns
- Planned Preventive maintenance, complete all allocated P.M.s in the set time frame
- Providing a high quality engineering service to both engineering and production teams
- Ensure engineering downtime is accurately logged, monitor repair times, and find new methods/procedures to reduce these
- Training Production staff
The ideal candidate will be:
- An engineer with a background in the food, FMCG or manufacturing industry, with good experience of carrying out PPMs
- Ideally multiskilled
- Strong mechanical understanding and appreciation
- A passion for reliability/improvements. Experience in this field is not a necessity as full training is offered; what is required is an interest to develop in the field
- Experience with CMMS
