Building Maintenance Operative / Site Services Engineer — Monday - Friday day shift — £45,000
My client is a leading food manufacturing business based in the North area. They are going through a huge recruitment drive.
Responsibilities
- Assist in building maintenance and repairs in accordance with GMP audits
- Experience with steam, boilers, refrigeration, HVAC etc
- Carpentry
- Plumbing
- Building proofing i.e. filling in holes with concrete or plaster, sealing joints
- Electrical i.e. changing light tubes, plugs etc.
- Services i.e. unblocking drains, keeping drains clear
- Computer literate so reports and job logging can be done
- Good understanding of Health and Safety at work i.e. COSHH, Risk Assessments
Requirements
- Background in Building services, in a maintenance / engineering / operative capacity
- Experience in the food or manufacturing sector would be beneficial
- City & Guilds (or equivalent) in building maintenance or construction
